3.2
A public relations writer must provide a image that best represents their company to the public. this is persuasion. that is, influencing the public by presenting information in many ways in order to change their attitudes beliefs or perceptions of the company. no matter what type of communication a public relations writer chooses to use, influencing the public in some way is the main goal. the public is then free to decide whether or not they believe that message or that the message applies to them in a way that will influence them in some way. even communication within the company deals with persuasion. all the employees work for the same goal. however, the employees attitudes about the company might need to change, the entire goal of the company might need to change , or how the employees should now present themselves to the company might need to change. persuasion not only is needed for the public but also the employees inside the company.
